The world has changed and the technology behind it must also
transform stories. Aware of the importance of engagement and social
action, Luby makes lasting commitments in the social sphere of ESG.
Arredondar is a Brazilian organization dedicated to transforming small donations into significant social impact. Through an innovative rounding platform, consumers can contribute spare change from their purchases, which are directed to social projects in education, health, the environment, and community development. Arredondar promotes a culture of solidarity by providing a simple yet powerful way for society to engage in meaningful causes, maximizing the impact of each contribution, and strengthening Brazil’s social support network.
Our partnership with the institute included the development of the platform that powers its entire operation, and with great pride, we’re now part of its advisory board. The Museu da Imaginação (Imagination Museum) is a cultural and interactive space in São Paulo, designed to stimulate the creativity and curiosity of children and adults. With dynamic exhibitions and playful activities, the museum offers a unique environment where art, science, and technology converge to deliver educational and entertaining experiences. The facilities are designed to engage visitors in an active learning process, promoting cognitive and emotional development through exploration and play. Perfect for family visits, the Museu da Imaginação is an invitation to unleash imagination and discover new ways of seeing the world.
Luby’s involvement in this initiative includes the development of interactive games used in the museum's immersive experiences. We’re also proud members of the institution’s advisory board.LabLuby was launched in 2019 as a developer training and acceleration program, allowing students to improve their technological skills and enter the job market with greater qualifications.
Throughout the 7-month program, participants received a monthly grant of R$1,000.00, the typical duration for completion.
The program was divided into three training tracks: JavaScript, .NET, and Games. During the first four months, students engaged in both practical and theoretical classes, with continuous mentorship, feedback, and assessments, helping them develop both hard and soft skills. In the final three months, the LabLubers – as they’re called, were placed in real Luby’s projects, applying their knowledge directly to the market.
Through the program, we have trained more than 160 young professionals across 21 states and the Federal District. Today, many of these professionals are working in national and international markets, including projects within Luby that serve clients abroad.
These initiatives exemplify Luby's commitment to promoting education, talent development, and ensuring equitable access to opportunities.
