Sunwest Bank wanted to streamline, modernize and expedite various financial market processes, including opening new accounts and applying for loans.

Project: SNAP
SNAP is a web application that allows Sunwest Bank customers to open digital accounts in 500% faster than before. Luby participated in the conception of this product, created prototypes and wireframes to validate it with the business, development, and testing teams, and currently plays a role in day-to-day operations.
Project: Loans
Loans is an online lending platform that allows customers to apply for and track the status of loans entirely digitally, without leaving their homes. We were involved from ideation with prototypes and wireframes to product development and testing.
Project: Selfcare HSA
A Health Savings Account (HSA) is a special bank account offered by companies as a benefit, where users can use the funds to cover medical expenses. Sunwest Bank identified an opportunity to improve the administration of this benefit for companies and their employees and developed a complete online platform. Luby was involved from ideation and conception to development and testing of this platform.

One of Sunwest Bank’s products, developed by Luby, provides banking data via API to HOA platforms that manage the community, allowing them to access financing information and fees to be paid.

We support Sunwest Bank with these integrations, including LexisNexis Risk Solution and ID Analyzer. All of the integrated solutions have enhanced the security of a Sunwest Bank money transfer product, enabling money transfers from the U.S. to Mexico.

Luby performed UX and UI work on all products developed with Sunwest Bank. We were involved in the development of all of them from conception to prototyping, and our UX&UI team focused on ensuring a good experience and usability for the bank’s users.
Finance Outsourcing
Our partnership with Sunwest Bank also includes two support and operations teams. The products are split between two teams: Team Blue and Team Green, with approximately 13 people assigned, including developers, product managers, QA, designers, and tech leads.

Luby has emerged as a strategic partner in the development of numerous applications spanning both web and mobile platforms. These applications serve internal purposes as well as the bank’s customers and were conceived after identifying specific business opportunities.
